Picture this: It’s the 4th of July, and the City is teeming with the abundance of God’s Inheritance. Beautiful women sashay the streets in their flower dresses, little children fill the (usually) bustling byways with wonderful curiosity, and the men stand tall, shepherding their loved ones. Fireworks begin working, sounds of singing erupt in pockets, and cheers of amazement are peppered amidst the crowd. The Inheritance takes their cue. Large circles of dancing form like clockwork. Flags begin to wave. However, the flags are not American. They are Israeli flags, and it is the reopening of the Third Temple in Jerusalem. Christians and Jews, from all over the world, flood the streets with joy in their hearts. The day has come. The day to confirm the covenant and practice the faith of our Biblical forefathers. A day to delight in the Ancient of Days. The shofar blasts, it’s a most blessed event. The most delightful smell of bbq’d steak fills the air. It’s the flavorful aroma (we all love grilling) being magnified throughout the City gates.
Media outlets, from all over the world, take aim with their cameras to assassinate the moment. Most of the Media outlets have begun to spin the truth of Yehovah’s holy commandments. They take the side of animal rights activists without pondering their own hypocrisy (without a doubt, they are not all vegans). Everyone recognizes that the aroma of grilled steak is simply irresistible. However, their minds are made up. Their claws are out. Grilling, in the Name of Yehovah, is loathsome for the Unbeliever. They are only there to record the horror of God’s sacrificial system. Of course, a blood sacrifice sets the world ablaze. Unimaginable accusations begin to be spewed out over the internet, in real time. The reporters search for words of derision. They paint Israel as cruel demons who are murdering poor “MOOey”. They accuse Israel, for that is the job of Satan, to accuse.
Revelation 12:10-11
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now have come God’s victory, power and kingship, and the authority of his Messiah; because the Accuser of our brothers, who accuses them day and night before God, has been thrown out!
11 “They defeated him because of the Lamb’s blood and because of the message of their witness. Even when facing death they did not cling to life.
We must stand tall against the accuser and praise the God of Israel. When the time comes to make sacrifices, to Yehovah, in Jerusalem, our hearts must be ready.
Zechariah 14 Complete Jewish Bible
16 Finally, everyone remaining from all the nations that came to attack Yerushalayim will go up every year to worship the king, Adonai-Tzva’ot, and to keep the festival of Sukkot. 17 If any of the families of the earth does not go up to Yerushalayim to worship the king, Adonai-Tzva’ot, no rain will fall on them. 18 If the family of Egypt doesn’t go up, if they refuse to come, they will have no [annual] overflow [from the Nile]; moreover, there will be the plague with which Adonai will strike the nations that don’t go up to keep the festival of Sukkot. 19 This will be Egypt’s punishment and the punishment of all the nations that don’t go up to keep the festival of Sukkot.
20 When that day comes, this will be written on the bells worn by the horses: “Consecrated to Adonai”; and the cooking pots in the house of Adonai will be [as holy] as the sprinkling bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every cooking pot in Yerushalayim and Y’hudah will be consecrated to Adonai-Tzva’ot. Everyone who offers sacrifices will come, take them and use them to stew the meat. When that day comes, there will no longer be merchants in the house of Adonai-Tzva’ot
In conclusion, there will be a Third Temple. The Gentile Christians’ heart must be changed to approach Jerusalem with a heart of wonder and thanksgiving. We must humble ourselves and realize that the animal sacrifices to come will be in remembrance for the ultimate sacrifice of Yeshua. Rejoice and enjoy the savory, mouth watering scent of bbq’d beef cooking at the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
